Valradio Static Frequency Converters are used to provide a freedom over the voltage and frequency of AC mains power supply, by changing frequency from 50Hz to 60Hz and vice versa. Frequency Converters are used to provide when the utility mains power supply ( say 230V/50Hz in Europe ) is different to the required ( say 120V/60Hz for American equipments or 115V, 400Hz for avionic use ) then Frequency Converter may be needed to change the frequency as well as the voltage. Also nominal 50Hz to 50 Hz units can be used to stabilise the voltage and frequency of AC power from generators or any other AC sources which are not stable of voltage and frequency.
